We’ve had two weeks off from the city by Slaver’s Bay, and Tyrion’s peace treaty with the Masters of Yunkai and Astapor seems to have brought peace to Meereen. But that wasn’t good enough for the dwarf. As we know, when we last left him and Varys, they were trying not to gog at Kinvara, one of the heads of the Red God’s religion, who had come at the behest of Tyrion to help preach the word of Daenerys Targaryen to the people.
With two episodes having passed since the deal to bring the Red God’s religion to the Meereenese people, everyone wanted to know this week: how are things going? Did it work? Or are Tyrion and Varys in even worse straits than they were before they signed the peace treaty with the Masters?

It turns out things seem to be going surprisingly well in Meereen–considering how badly they have prior to this. But the Red Priestess and hr crew of soothsayers make Varys nervous and upset. Understandably so. But for Tyrion to be losing Varys is quite a blow. Even if Varys is going off to a secret mission (probably to see about recruiting Dorne.) Of course, the problem is that leaves him only with Missandei and Grey Worm, neither of whom he gets along with or understands very well.
And that’s BEFORE the Masters showed up.
The battle isn’t going well. And it’s looking like the castle is being invaded, when….
