New York Comic Con 2016 is over, and it’s time to step back and assess…the outfits. Check out some of the best Game of Thrones cosplay from the event.

Let’s start with one of the stunners. This is an impeccably constructed costume with all kinds of great details, particularly in the face. Also, it brings up a question: are female White Walkers are a thing? We still haven’t seen one. If they are, this cosplayer should give the Game of Thrones costume designers an idea of where to start.

The Sparrows made their last stand in Season 6, and these cosplayers honor them.

Ditto Septa Unella.

And now, a video cosplay message from the Hound:

The hair is great, the axe is great, and the chicken…the chicken is perfect.

Hodor cosplay was popular this year. Is it too soon? It’s not for me to say, but yes.

I dig anyone who shows up in Cersei’s coronation dress. So far as things people are likely to yell at you as you pass by, “Long may she reign” beats the hell out of “Shame!”

Sometimes the classics are best. Above, we have Daenerys circa Season 3. Below: Daenerys circa Season 5. And also ninja turtles.

Sometimes, a Dragon Queen has to roll with the punches:

There were several Sansas in attendance, too. This one got her picture taken with Jack Gleeson (Joffrey Baratheon), the biggest GoT actor on offer.

Here’s an excellent Tormund and Melisandre.

The Tormund came prepared:

And of course, what would a Game of Thrones cosplay round-up be without a couple Jon Snows?

And here, Jon and Daenerys sit what will have to pass for the Iron Throne together. And also Drogon was there. I don’t think the suit of armor in the back has anyone in it. I’m 95% sure.

Finally, here’s a cat dressed as Jon Snow. It has nothing to do with New York Comic Con, but it is a cat dressed like Jon Snow, so it belongs here. It belongs everywhere, really.
