Awards season rolls on with several Guilds announcing their 2016 nominees, and Game of Thrones Season 6 is ranking up the nominations.

Yesterday both the Producers’ Guild and the Art Directors Guild announced this year’s nominees for the 2015-2016 television season, as well as the 2016 movie season. In both cases, Game of Thrones found itself nominated.

Over at the Producers’ Guild, the sow was once again nominated for the prestigiously named “Norman Felton Award for Outstanding Producer of Episodic Television, Drama” award. The show has been nominated for this award every season it has been on the air, but only last year did they finally take home the win for Season 5. Their competition including HBO’s first season of Westworld, along with the other major newcomer of 2016, Netflix show Stranger Things. Rounding out the category are critical darlings Better Call Saul and House of Cards which are perennial nominees. The award show will be held on January 28, 2017.

Meanwhile over at the Art Directors Guild, show show has once again been nominated for the ADG Excellence in Production Design Award. Unlike the Producer’s Guild, the Art Directors Guild does not nominate for a full season, but for individual epsiode work, In this case Deborah Riley, the production designer has been nominated for her work in three episodes: “Blood of My Blood,” “The Broken Man,” and “No One”.

This is Riley’s third nomination in a row after taking the reigns from Gemma Whelan in Season 4. She’s won both of those nominations as well, for “The Laws of Gods and Men” and “The Mountain and the Viper” in Season 4 and for “High Sparrow”, “Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken” and “Hardhome” in Season 5. The show has been nominated every season since it’s been on the air, and won every year since Season 2. Like over at the Producers’ Guild, Game of Thrones is competing against HBO’s first season of Westworld, along with Netflix’s show Stranger Things. Rounding out the category though are two other newcomers, The Crown, also from Netflix, and Amazon’s The Man In The High Castle. The awards will be held March 11, 2017.

Congrats to all the nominees, and may the best show win.
