Game of Thrones Season 6 is coming down the road at 1000 miles an hour. Last week, Tyrion made friends with dragons, Bran took us into the past, and Jon Snow came back to life. How will the show follow up on all that? Here’s HBO’s official description of “Oathbreaker,” this Sunday’s new episode:
Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) meets her future. Bran meets the past. Tommen confronts the High Sparrow (Jonathan Pryce). Arya (Maisie Williams) trains to be No One. Varys (Conleth Hill) finds an answer. Ramsay gets a gift.
HBO does love to be vague, doesn’t it? It looks like we’ll be heading back into the past with Bran, and judging by the strength of the Winterfell flashback in “Home,” there’s reason to be excited. Meanwhile, Daenerys will likely reach Vaes Dothrak, where she’ll spend the rest of her life making young girls eat horse hearts.
There are plenty of theories floating around out there as what gift Ramsay receives and what answer Varys gets, but in the interest of not spoiling anything, I’ll leave them to you to discuss.
