Sophie Turner: I Know Sansa Better Than I Know Myself

We’re only a couple of days away from the Game of Thrones Season 6 premiere in Los Angeles, this Sunday. With the hype reaching a fever pitch, Sophie Turner gave a quick interview to Vanity Fair. It had to be quick, because she’s basically said everything she can about Season 6 without giving away spoilers at this point.

She says that, at this point, she knows the character of Sansa “better than I know myself.” As an actress who had little experience beyond the local Christmas pantomime, getting cast on Game of Thrones six years ago threw her into the deep end—she’s grown up with the character and spent more time delving into who she is that she has with anything else in her life. And she can’t wait for everyone to join her on the journey: “After everything Sansa’s gone through, it’s going to be a big one.”

She can’t wait for us to join her at the premiere, either. Though there are many who entered to win a spot at the Season 6 premiere via Omaze, only a couple could go. But Turner says that shouldn’t stop them for asking questions of the cast. In fact, she posted a video to her Facebook this week inviting everyone to do just that.

Hello Game of Thrones fans. I would like to invite you to the Season 6 red carpet premiere which will be broadcast on Facebook live, which is like 5pm PST. And I will be there with the Game of Thrones family, representing the Starks as always. And basically, we want to hear from you. So post your questions for the cast on the Game of Thrones Facebook page, using the hashtag #GoTPremiereLA and we will answer them live on the red carpet. So I can’t wait to hear from you all!

It’s really cute watching her struggle with the technology—just in case you feel like only young people can adapt to the of tech on Facebook and Twitter, here’s proof that we all struggle with it. Head here to post whatever questions you have.
