Video: Ramin Djawadi unveils details about the Game of Thrones Live Concert Experience

Starting early next year, Game of Thrones composer Ramin Djawadi will take the music of the show on tour, visiting dozens of cities with a full orchestra and choir to give fans “an eye-popping, ear-splitting, phantasmagoric blend of the show’s visuals and Ramin’s powerful compositions.” Now, he’s revealed some more details about what to expect.

There are two videos. First, Djawadi teases the experience from his studio.

Aw, he got cut off at the end. Facebook Live can be tricky.

So the concert will be in the round, with the stage in the middle of the venue. There are three stages in play: the King’s Landing stage, which’ll be in the middle, and two satellite stages that will have the choir, soloists, and what-have-you. And then there are the giant LED screens and the wedding cake-like side stages, which can grow and shrink as needed. It should be an experience.

And here’s a visualization of what it’ll look like when it goes on the road:

Those see-through stages, where you can see the orcuestra and choir hard at work on the inside, are pretty cool

The tour will stop first on Kansas City on February 15, right as filming on Season 7 should be wrapping up. You can check out the complete list of tour dates here and get tickets here.
