2016 has gotten a reputation as a bad year. But on the upside, Game of Thrones Season 6 was pretty great. With that in mind, the elves at HBO have decided to give generously this holiday season, and end the year on a high note. The premium cable channel will air one season of Game of Thrones per day from December 26 to 31.
Winter is coming.

If spending the cost of your rent to go out on New Years’ Eve doesn’t appeal to you, you’ve now got other options. Now you can turn the lights down low, curl up on the couch, take your broadsword down from the wall (everybody has one of those, right?) and take in every epic moment from Game of Thrones hour by hour. Game of Thrones-themed beer from Brewery Ommegang is recommended to wash the story down.
For our friends across the pond, Sky Atlantic, which houses all of HBO’s major programs, is also marathoning every episode of the show. Their festive feast started on December 16th.
Urgh… Christmas is TERRIBLE. At least you can #FeastOnThrones, with every episode of @GameofThrones from tonight, 9pm. #GoTAtlantic pic.twitter.com/DcEVBq7pfF

That’s a pretty funny video, too.
Happy holidays, happy watching, and valar morghulis.
