Count Dorne among the regions of Westeros that will be represented at this year’s Con of Thrones, because Indira Varma (Ellaria Sand) has been announced as part of the guest lineup!
Varma is well known as Ellaria Sand, the beloved paramour of Oberyn Martell (Pedro Pascal), in seasons 4-7 on Game of Thrones. Her portrayal was a fan-favorite, evoking many facets of the book character — from loving mother to supportive partner to adventurous lover — while adding layers of fierce independence and determination, creating a nuanced yet fiery performance. Varma will appear on panels and programming on Saturday, August 26, and Sunday, August 27 and will also participate in autograph and photograph experiences with fans as she makes her first visit to Con of Thrones, the premier unofficial Game of Thrones convention.
Fellow Game of Thrones cast members Isaac Hempstead Wright (Bran Stark) and Miltos Yerolemou (Syrio Forel) will also appear at Con of Thrones, which will be held at Hyatt Regency Orlando in Orlando, Florida, August 25-27.
