Game of Thrones is not only a fantastic show—it’s a feast for the eyes. From the costumes to the sets to the CGI, every episode has gorgeous moments and amazing acting beats that are well worth freezing in time and considering. This week “No One” had a lot of night shots and not a lot of sprawling landscapes So the award this week for Best Vista goes to the town square in the city of Peñíscola, in Spain, where the production created a bustling Meereenese market place.

And now, on with the recap.
We’re back with the Game of Thrones players, and it looks like Lady Crane did get to rewrite her script.
But we’re really here because this is where Arya came crawling in her hour of need.
Lady Crane sounds like an awesome, if not slightly dangerous, person to hang around with. It’s the first time Arya’s found someone who, like her, enjoys poking holes in people. But I was struck by the shot of Lady Crane prepping Arya’s Milk of the Popy, echoing back to Arya poisoning Lady Crane’s rum.
I want to focus on the gore and the violence in this scene, because after the Hound’s flirtation with pacifism, it’s very striking to see the sudden spate of violence.
Axe to the chest.
Axe to the neck.
Axe to…well, you know.
The Hound seems to have become his own holy man now, even giving his victim a chance to amend his last words. Too bad they’re all ones you can’t say on network TV.
