WiC Weekly: May 29-June 5

It’s tie for WiC Weekly, where we recap the biggest Game of Thrones-related news stories from the past week. Let’s start with our recaps of “Blood of My Blood,” the latest episode, which come in versions for both fans who have read the books…

…and those who only ever watched the show.

We go shot by shot through Bran Stark’s visions at the start of “Blood of My Blood,” and see what information we can glean from them.

As usual, “Blood of My Blood” had plenty of callbacks to past episodes, and plenty of Easter eggs besides. We catalog them.

George R.R. Martin confirms what a lot of us already suspect: Lady Stoneheart won’t be on Game of Thrones. Yes, he could be misleading us, but then again, he could not be.

We profile all of the direwolves on Game of Thrones, both the ones who have died and the few who are still around. What might they get up to next?

Ramsay Bolton hasn’t been on Game of Thrones for a couple of episodes, but actor Iwan Rheon is sure he’ll be back. What will happen when we see him again? Rheon has some ideas.

The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman criticized A Song of Ice and Fire author George R.R. Martin for the way the latter handled HBO’s adaptation of his work as Game of Thrones. He later took his comments back, but you can judge for yourself if he meant them.

Turning to  tonight’s episode, we break down the trailer for “The Broken Man,” shot by shot.

HBO also released lots of pics from “The Broken Man.” They give us an idea of how much time we’ll spend on each plotline. Check ’em out.

Finally, HBO confirmed the title for Episode 8 of Game of Thrones Season 6. We’ve also got the probable titles for Episodes 9 and 10 on hand.
