WiC Weekly: January 15-21

Welcome to WiC Weekly, where we recap the biggest and brightest Game of Thrones-related stories from the past seven days. There were a couple of bombs this week, so let’s dive in.

We begin with SPOILERS. An important character is returning for Game of Thrones Season 7, although we’re at a bit of a loss as to how it will happen, considering what happened to the character in past seasons.

So…HOW in the hell could this character be coming back? We get our speculation on.

Game of Thrones Season 7 is on the horizon, but HBO is already thinking about Season 8.

We also got some information on the potential for a Game of Thrones spinoff.

In cast interviews, Maisie Williams (Arya) whet our appetites for both Seasons 7 and 8.

Not to be outdone, Lena Headey (Cersei) was on hand with her own Season 7 tease.

In set reports, it looks like the production is wrapping up its time in Iceland. We didn’t envy the actors who had to perform in the frigid cold.

Last week, we asked you all to participate in a debate: what, if anything, does George R.R. Martin owe fans who have been waiting to read The Winds of Winter for years? Your comments were so interesting we compiled them into a post.

And now for something silly:

And now for something even sillier:
