WiC Weekly: January 22-29

What’s happening in the wide world of Game of Thrones? Let’s find out. This is WiC Weekly.

First up, there are rumblings of a release date for Game of Thrones Season 7, but take a beat before you believe the hype.

Although it’s winding down now, Kit Harington was in Iceland this past week to film some of his Game of Thrones cast member buddies.

Maisie Williams had a busy week, on the promotional trail as she is for her new Netflix movie, iBoy. Naturally, interviewers couldn’t let her go without a couple of questions about Game of Thrones.

Although filming on Season 7 is nearly complete, we’re still hearing new casting information.

And in casting news that could have been but wasn’t, we learned something interesting about longtime Game of Thrones cast member Conleth Hill.

Looking for something that’s not Game of Thrones but still kind of Game of Thrones-related to get you through the next couple of months? We have a recommendation.

People are always busy over at IMDb…

In books, we got some solid information about new writing from George R.R. Martin! Unfortunately, it’s not the release date of The Winds of Winter, but it’s still cause to get excited.

Game of Thrones is everywhere, even on street corners.

Finally, we discuss the worst moments from the most recent season of Game of Thrones. Hey, it’s not a perfect show.
