Game of Thrones Season 7 Spain and Iceland Featurette — With new footage!

Untitled

With a trailer and a featurette on costumes, season 7’s arrial has never felt so real. Now, via Movistar, one of the Spanish broadcasters for Game of Thrones, we have yet another behind the scenes video focusing on location filming in Iceland and Spain!

If you look for it, there is some new footage in there as well, so beware of spoilers!

The interviews with the cast and crew are business as usual, so you shouldn’t feel too bad that they are over-dubbed in Spanish — It’s a lot of “Oh, filming in such real, exotic places is amazing.” Nevertheless, you will soon find a translation after the video:

Essentially, they talk a lot about the breathtaking but punishing nature of Iceland, and the sheer geophraphic variety they were able to find in Spain, from the Northern coast to Seville. You may find that the images are of more interest than the interviews —For example, at last we get to see the Itálica amphitheater ruins turned into King’s Landing’s dragon pit. If you have a keen eye, you may notice other interesting settings as well!
