Game of Thrones is nominated for a PGA Award for the seventh year in a row

dany

Game of Thrones remains strong in its off season as the Producers Guild of America (PGA) announced yesterday that the fantasy phenomenon is among the nominees for their 29th Annual Producers Guild Awards.

Season 7 has been nominated for for the Norman Felton Award for Outstanding Producer of Episodic Television, Drama. As impressive as season 7 was, though, the competition is, admittedly, pretty stiff. Game of Thrones is up against season 1 of The Handmaid’s Tale and Big Little Lies and season 2 of Stranger Things and The Crown.

Game of Thrones has been nominated for this award every year since 2011 but has only won once, in 2015 for season 5. Last year, it lost to the first season of Stranger Things.

The award ceremony will be held in Los Angeles on January 20th.

What do you think? Are you crossing your fingers for a second PGA award for Game of Thrones?
