WE BACK, MY PEEPS. It’s yours truly, Axey-faxey-fabulous, crawling back out from under my rock to—hssss! Is that sssssunlight…??…
Oof. It’s been a while. How… how do type?
…Anyway. You ain’t here for awkward nerd jokes. Why am I even back? C’mon, YOU KNOW WHY. In less than two weeks, our beloved Game of Thrones begins its final six episodes. This means six more Twitter posts by me, the oft-asthmatic @Axechucker, where I pop into the #GameOfThrones #ForTheThrone #DemThrones and #ThronesYall hashtags, comb through, find the funny (or the drama), and toss it out here for your amusement.
But why are we here? Season hasn’t even started yet! Well, for one, I’m testing this thing out! I sent five questions out into the Twitterverse, and the answers I received… Well. My followers haven’t lost much of their inherent weirdness. Let’s have a go, shall we?
So BAD news first: STORIFY is dead. If you haven’t noticed, Season 7’s Twitter posts are dust in the wind, as the Winchesters might hum. So if any of y’all were hoping to go back and read the old ones… lol.
R.I.P.
But the show must go on! This season I’m embedding Tweets straight into the post, so unless Watchers On The Wall goes tits up, we won’t lose these again.
But that means I can’t go on, and on, and… on. Alas (or… yay), this means these posts are gonna be much shorter. That’s how the balloon bounces. Step ya game up, or be lost in the dust!
And here… we… go. pic.twitter.com/XNohpkNIPS
— Axey (@Axechucker) April 2, 2019
I asked some simple questions. You gave me some not-so-simple answers.
QUESTION 1: Your level of hype for the return of ‘Thrones is _________
I’m Kermit hyped for it! pic.twitter.com/pNgjJ4hAO7
— π¦ Esoteric Little Fruit Bat ⓥ π¦ (@Phoenixs_Flame_) April 1, 2019
— Nicole (@Ms_Esquire_) April 1, 2019
My level of hype cannot be contained within the English language. It's a rush of emotions thumping up and down like a racing heart, eagerly awaiting the first look of the new season, and anxiously fearing the end of an epic!
— Missandei of Naath (@iMissandei_) April 1, 2019

— Not Bri. Just me. (@BeautyBrienne) April 1, 2019
Through the roof hyped up! Keep checking my phone to see how many days minutes abs seconds til season 8 starts!!
— RoseLura (@Roselura) April 1, 2019
Abs seconds? Man, you could get a LOT of abs work in before the premiere! If all you’re doing is abs, every minute of every day up until the season begins. You could have abs like this guy:

Thanos needs to get tf out of the way, it’s almost GoT time.
QUESTION 2: What is your greatest wish for this season? Conversely, what is your greatest fear?
Greatest fear: pic.twitter.com/5GrqHCHXkd
— Elizabeth Schuyler Hamilton (@BetseySHamilton) April 1, 2019
…Yeah, that’s basically the sum of all our fears. Because:

Yarp.
Ice Spiders (big as hounds) is my answer to both of these questions https://t.co/faCTbmqfqy
— Abs ✨ (@Orions_BeIt) April 1, 2019
Greatest wish, Arya being the Valonqar. Greatest fear, Jon dying, again.
— Katreesi (@KatriceTLeach) April 1, 2019
My greatest wish is that we actually see every major-ish character who dies get a glorious, emotional death befitting of our love/hatred for them. #ForTheThrone #GOTS8
— Not Ugly Just Broke (@caseykassidy) April 1, 2019
My greatest wish is to have an ending that is NOT neat. It should be truly destroying, not predictable shocks like S7.
My greatest fear is, well, S8 ending up a fan-servicy predictable mess like S7.— Missandei of Naath (@iMissandei_) April 1, 2019
Sansa on the throne is the wish …. Jon on the throne is the fear (i mean, he had his chance at ruling twice, and so far it's led to questionable choices and upset people and at least one murder). pic.twitter.com/KuwoxaLHmB

Greatest wish: Jaime and Brienne 5eva!
Greatest fear: pic.twitter.com/GESn0TQ15S

DON’T STOP…. BELI-EVIN’…
Wish? To cry a lot. Fear? Running out of tears. https://t.co/Oq6er0liCu
— MEAT’S BACK ON THE MANU, BOYS (@ManuclearBomb) April 1, 2019
Greatest wish: Reunions! Reunions galore! Jon/Arya, Gendry/Arya, Jon/Ghost…and maybe a big WTF ending that nobody saw coming.
Greatest fear: A disappointing ending to the show.
— Gendry (@BastardGendry) April 1, 2019
Greatest fear? It's happening. It all ends. And I am heartbroken.
Greatest wish? UNDEAD STARKS IN THE CRYPTS. That is my pet theory, and it's my last chance to be right. I haven't been correct on a theory since S5. GIVE ME ONE FINAL TIME AT GLORY! https://t.co/QdbRRk6JWd
— Ros of the North (@GameOverRos) April 1, 2019
Weirdly, I’ve never had a correct theory!
(My old “Starks are gonna go down as the villains in the history books!” theory still could… happen…)
JAIME X BRIENNE FOREVER before he dies because he definitely is going to die. So basically that whole sentence answers both of your questions.
— Lauren (@pinklem73) April 1, 2019
…Dammit. Yeah, he’s gonna die.
I just want Brienne to finish writing his history in the White Book. Is that too much to ask? One of them needs to live!
GREATEST WISH: pic.twitter.com/pKzXT7isS3
— Thoros ❤️'s R'hllor (@ThorosLuvRhllor) April 1, 2019
Too late for you, brother. I’m sorry.
That they do Aryas ending right. I so worry they're gonna screw up her storyline like they have in the past.
— Nicole (@Ms_Esquire_) April 1, 2019
Greatest fear is that any of these bizarre Littlefinger theories is true.
— Chrismrod (@ChrisMRodgers) April 1, 2019
The only Littlefinger theory I’ll support is the one where Arya heads south wearing his face.
Greatest wish: For the Night King to be defeated
Greatest fear: An underwhelming ending, Dany (and Drogon) dying
— πππ¬π¬π (@jsuhmd) April 1, 2019
Wish: Gendry reuniting with his milady.
Fear: STARKS DYING.
— Mace Tyrell's Ghost @ NotNowMace2019 (@duckandcover) April 1, 2019
A happy Gendrya reunion. I make no apologies.
Actually, you can just come fight me on this. pic.twitter.com/yXSTqvo2xQ
— Corrina Martinez (@corrina_roxx) April 1, 2019
Hope: Arya, Tyrion and Sansa survives (that Tyrion find someone to appreciate him, in the books I had hoped Sansa would come around)
Fear: Tyrion or Arya dies.
— Dan Delgado (@Varsuuk) April 1, 2019
Arya’s fate is on a LOT of people’s minds!
Greatest wish…Jon and Arya emo reunion. Greatest fear…said reunion is ruint pic.twitter.com/yPnt9Q1uCU

THIS WHAT SHELLY SAID EXACTLY THIS
— it's brandi, bitch (@harlotstarlet1) April 1, 2019
SHELLY SHELLY SHELLY
#SHELLY #BANNED #MyFirstBanOf2019 #FootballReasons
My greatest wish is a worthy ending. Doesn't have to be happy. Probably won't be. My greatest fear is a boring, predictable ending.
— Not Bri. Just me. (@BeautyBrienne) April 1, 2019
greatest fear—a predictable / disappointing ending / shmamerys on the iron throne
— catch me if you hann (@feellikepdiddy) April 1, 2019
Gurl, that throne gonna be a massive molten mass of melted metal before the final credits roll. Trust.
QUESTION 3: Who bites it first this season? And who d’you think is most likely to survive the entire series?
Who dies first? Of people we give a shit about? Calling it right now: Jorah. I dunno, just a feeling.
— Shelly Ren (@shellyren79) April 1, 2019
The one most likely, nay, one I'm 100% sure will survive is Sansa Stark. I don't know if she will end up on the Iron Throne, but she will definitely be the Lady of Winterfell!
— Missandei of Naath (@iMissandei_) April 1, 2019
Beric goes first. Sansa lives.
— Lauren (@pinklem73) April 1, 2019
Bran will survive entire series. Grey Worm dies first
— Katreesi (@KatriceTLeach) April 1, 2019
Probably the first casualty would be someone not big enough to wreck us, but important enough to leave a scar. So, Ser Jorah!
— Missandei of Naath (@iMissandei_) April 1, 2019
First to Go: Sadly, Dolorous Edd Tollett. I wish it weren’t so, but with the Wall down, our current LC is in a precarious place. He’s had a great run.
Likelist to Survive: Samwell Tarly. Feel good about this. Whether or not he’s the “author”, he’ll survive to pass on the story.
— Jared Kozal (@jkozal) April 1, 2019
Thoros or Melisandre will bite it first.
Varys survives.
— Name Cannot Be Blank (@nathaliedgc) April 1, 2019
I feel like we’ll see Varys bite it too, unless Melisandre’s prediction turns out to be wrong. Chekov’s prophesy.
Survive til the end? Probably Sam, Theon, Pod and Tyrion.
First to go? 15000 Dothraki, and then The Red Woman.
— Corrina Martinez (@corrina_roxx) April 1, 2019
Not sure who bites it first. Hopefully Euron but doubtful. I will say what I’ve thought since end of Dance when I expected a Mel to bring Jon back: He fights and stops the walkers, sacrificing himself to defeat or placate them forever. It is what Jondalf was sent back to finish.
— Dan Delgado (@Varsuuk) April 1, 2019
JONDALF.
…I ship it.
Bites or first… grey worm or Davos and most likely to survive is Arya Stark..
— RoseLura (@Roselura) April 1, 2019
Sansa survives. I’m going way out on a limb and say that Varys dies first.
— Aaron T. Starks (@StarkyLuv73) April 1, 2019
I think just about everyone at the Wall will go in pretty short order.
— Not Bri. Just me. (@BeautyBrienne) April 1, 2019
Pour one out for Edd, in that case
— Elizabeth Schuyler Hamilton (@BetseySHamilton) April 1, 2019
My Market Pantry sparkling Cherry Limeaid is all for him.

The Pie That Was Promised.
QUESTION 4. If you had a message to give to the entire fandom, what would that message be?
To the #FakeWesteros fandom, thank you for making this journey an immersive & stunning one!
To all the fans, it's not the end yet. This world by GRRM is far greater than us all, and we shall forever be exploring the hidden lanes of the written word!— Missandei of Naath (@iMissandei_) April 1, 2019
DANY AND ARYA AND SANSA CAN EXIST IN THE SAME UNIVERSE WITHOUT Y'ALL WRITING 10K-WORD COMPARATIVE ESSAYS ABOUT WHY ONE OR THE OTHER SUCKS.
— Mace Tyrell's Ghost @ NotNowMace2019 (@duckandcover) April 1, 2019
lol
We’ve made it this far!
— it's brandi, bitch (@harlotstarlet1) April 1, 2019
Right? Only 6 eps to go. We… we can totally do this …!
It's been an honor being part of this extraordinary journey. This show may be ending, but the story and friendships we've made within this fandom will be ingrained in our hearts for a long time. Let's enjoy the last season!
— πππ¬π¬π (@jsuhmd) April 1, 2019
This fandom has been both good and bad during the show's run. It's the last season, folks. Stop whinging and just enjoy the final 6 episodes!
— Gendry (@BastardGendry) April 1, 2019
And as we know, Gendry knows all about whinging.
We'll never see a show like this in our lifetime, but don't worry, there are therapists And also if you think this has a happy ending you haven't been paying attention!
— Simona Stoyanova (@SimonaStoya) April 1, 2019
Even if you watch the leaked episodes this season, because i full heartedly believe it’ll happen, please don’t spoil it. Like this is it, this is the end. And it’s been fun, so let’s just not spoil anything for anyone else
— Kevin Scott (@DoubleOh_Kevin) April 1, 2019
Amen, Kevan.
This has been an amazing journey, but we still have more to come with the books and the new series so I refuse to let any of you go.
— Lauren (@pinklem73) April 1, 2019
Read the books. Then read the Dunk and Egg then check out Dying of the Light, Hunter’s Run, Dreamsongs, etc. Also read Abercrombie for even worse people and grayer “protagonists” (can’t say heroes) Then check back to see if Winds of Winter has a pub date yet.
— Dan Delgado (@Varsuuk) April 1, 2019
I love* all** of you.
* – like
** – some— Not Bri. Just me. (@BeautyBrienne) April 1, 2019
Aw. We like some of you too, Bri!

— Sam Coleman (@SamColemanActor) April 1, 2019
And I just wanted to say… Thanks, Hodor.
Enjoy this fandom while you still can. Cherish the friendships you made through this fandom because so many people have truly changed my life.
— I like this one (@TheLadyShelly) April 1, 2019
QUESTION 5. Finally, if you had a message to give to one of the writers, actors, directors, etc… who gets your message, and what does that message say?
Natalie Dormer- stop calling me, I'm a married direwolf dammit.
— Ghost Snow (@GhostTheWolf) April 2, 2019
I giggled.
To GRRM, the cast, the entire production, Ramin Djawadi… pic.twitter.com/ZpgoYpybBM
— Gendry (@BastardGendry) April 1, 2019
My message goes to Ramin Djawadi and I would say THANK you for all of your beautiful music. The show truly would not be the same without the score.
— I like this one (@TheLadyShelly) April 1, 2019
Thank you, Ramin Djawadi.
— Mace Tyrell's Ghost @ NotNowMace2019 (@duckandcover) April 1, 2019
Lotta love for Ramin. I dig it.
5) Is there stuff I will criticize till my last breath? Yes. But by R’hllor, you did a magnificent job adapting source material so complex and vast, and the visuals of GoT will forever be epic.
— Arya Stark (@Arya_No1) April 1, 2019
To the entire cast and production crew, thank you for bringing these books to life.
— Lauren (@pinklem73) April 1, 2019
I cannot limit this. To all the actors: thank you for breathing life into characters who have been part of my life since ‘96. So many of you have blown me away from the “kids”(!!!) to old Maesters. Thank you. I wish I could do one post per my many faves. Writers/set/die -also TY!
— Dan Delgado (@Varsuuk) April 1, 2019
To David Benioff & D.B. Weiss, thank you! Thank you for being brave enough to bring this story to life on the screen and for your supernatural dedication to every aspect of the production over the past decade. You created my favorite show of all time, and brought joy to millions. pic.twitter.com/3eBbrv0DdP
— Jared Kozal (@jkozal) April 1, 2019
Since it hasn’t been mentioned yet, I’d go with Weiss and Benioff and say thank you so much for 8 amazing seasons and for bringing this fantastic story to life, as well as completing it. pic.twitter.com/vnrIWAS9iS

Thank you Gwendoline Christie for being utterly magnificent https://t.co/Rn5FH2Fbab
— MEAT’S BACK ON THE MANU, BOYS (@ManuclearBomb) April 1, 2019
I'd thank Alfie Allen. For being the most incredible, underrated actor in a show filled with stunning performances.
He has been the arrogant boy, the tortured soul, and the man we've got. His Theon IS Theon. I could think of no one better to do him justice. https://t.co/wMprDwomak

Other than that…?
Eh.
To the crew for piecing together the parts to make such an epic show a reality. Thank you

Nina Gold: The casting was perfect, for the main characters and the minor ones. Thank you for bringing these characters to life.

To Bryan Cogman. Thank you so much for some of my favorite quiet moments, especially in ‘Kissed by Fire’. You have a true understanding of this world and story.

To whoever is listening, can I get Rory's number, please and thank you.
— Name Cannot Be Blank (@nathaliedgc) April 1, 2019
No give it to meeee
Thank you! You've given us something that excites us so much that people have taken time of their days to analyze every single frame, and the show has given us meaning of our lives in some way But also… don't f**k this up!
— Simona Stoyanova (@SimonaStoya) April 1, 2019
It’s too late, kid! They either already fucked it up or didn’t. This is either season 5 or season 6. We’ll see! I’m a hopeful bastard.
A message to the writers or directors or any actor pleas please can someone fly me to Belfast to see some sets or at least watch the premiere with one of you guys.? Before I die (bucket list)or end up in a wheelchair (5-9yrs) I’d like to go to Europe. Please and thank you.
— RoseLura (@Roselura) April 1, 2019
I’m gonna say…. it may be too late?
