Yesterday, the HBO and Game of Thrones gods smiled down upon us. With only 48 days to go, we were finally, FINALLY, blessed with a just over one minute and forty second trailer for the upcoming season. And though a mere 101 seconds doesn’t seem like a lot of time to pack int eh footage, the fact of the matter is, that trailer was jammed to the gills with new footage.
Now as we all know, I’m a bit obsessive when it comes to spoilers. I gathered every single last unofficial one in a huge round up at the beginning of the year, as much for my own edification of what we really knew and what we had that was mere speculation as it was for the spoiler-friendly readers. (Yeah, by the way, don’t click that link unless you want to know.) So of course all I wanted to do once this trailer showed up was to load it into my player and snapshot to my little heart’s content until I was certain of every last image we had been given.
