Entertainment Weekly has more goodies for us today! In advance of their special GoT double-issue, the magazine is releasing character portraits featuring six leading actresses from the show, along with a few choice soundbites about season 6.
Here’s Arya in her House of Black and White costume- and holding Needle!
“She’s learning the last lesson she needs to learn,” Emilia Clarke says to EW, of her season 6 story. “There’s just few remnants of being a human being she’s shaking off.”
“She really has nothing to lose and she has everything to gain from the horrible position she finds herself in,” says Lena Headey of where Cersei stands this season. Natalie Dormer says of her character’s arc this year, ‘We’ve seen Margaery in a lot of sticky situations, but she’s never been out of her depth before.” The two queens pose here with Clarke.
Sophie Turner, Maisie Williams and Gwendoline Christie share a portrait, with Sophie once again wearing her famous “Dark Sansa” gown and Brienne in her distinct armor.
