We’re excited to roll out a new category this year for the Watchers on the Wall Awards! For the 2017 awards, we’ve decided to create a category celebrating one of Game of Thrones‘ strongest technical areas- the show’s costumes! Every season, GoT unveils dozens if not hundreds of new costumes, filling up the screen with color and personality, helping make the world of Westeros realer and more dramatic than ever.
We’ve gathered up the suggestions from our readers, and now it’s time to narrow down the nominees to just five, in our inaugural outing of Best New Costume!
The standard rules: Select up to FIVE nominees from each poll. You can choose fewer if you like, but you cannot choose more than 5 from each category. (Visit the initial WotW Awards post for a complete explanation of the rules and process.)
At the end of 72 hours (Saturday 11/18/17 at 2PM Eastern Time), whichever five costumes have the most votes will continue on to the finals. The results of the poll will be revealed when it’s time to choose the winners in a couple weeks.
