As much as we, in the fandom, are already struggling to come to terms with the end of Game of Thrones, it’s hard to imagine what saying goodbye must be like for the show’s cast. According to Kit Harington, he and his fellow Westeros alumns found closure at the end of production by partying it up after wrapping at each filming location.
During an appearance on BBC Radio 6 Music, Harington was asked how the cast of Game of Thrones commemorated the end of their time together in Westeros. Harington’s answer: parties.
“We had so many … we had a few,” Harington laughed. “‘Cause [at] every location we filmed, we would have this party to finish that location.
“One of the greatest things about Thrones is that we all got on like a real house on fire and we loved each other very deeply,” he said. “And we had a good time together so we’re going to celebrate that.”
