Naomi Watts is doing her best to keep mum about the upcoming Game of Thrones prequel about the Long Night, which is no easy task, I’m sure.

However, in a recent interview she did say that it’s “exciting” to be a part of the project and that she’s unsure if she’s prepared for the intensity of the A Song of Ice and Fire and Game of Thrones fandom. *Turns and looks at the camera*

While speaking at Variety’s Sundance Studio about her film, Luce, Watts was asked for plot details about the spin-off, which will begin production in Spain in a few months. Before the interviewer had even finished the question, however, Watts was already shaking her head.

“Do you really think I’m going to tell you that? Are you trying to catch me off guard?” she laughed.

While Watts refused to disclose anything about the show in which she will play a “socialite with a dark secret,” she was willing to discuss the world of A Song of Ice and Fire and Game of Thrones.

“It’s a fantastic world, isn’t it? I think there’s so many brilliant elements to that series that make it very exciting, very appealing,” she said. “I don’t want to dig myself into a big hole here. All I want to say is it’s very exciting…I’ll say that again and again and again — and nothing else.”

When asked if she was ready to experience the full might of the fandom (which, all jokes aside, has subjected Game of Thrones cast members to heckling and online trolling), Watts was honest:

“I don’t know,” she said. “We’ll see. I know it’s pretty huge and that might take some adjusting, but there’s a reason for that fandom. I think it’s just so well done.”

You can watch the whole interview at Variety.
