Police department’s GoT memes go viral, the Great Houses of Westeros as cars, and other funnies

How does a police department connect with the citizens it serves? As it ends up, Game of Thrones memes help. The police department in Bengaluru, India has gained notoriety of late for uploading a bunch of self-made GoT memes to its social media accounts.

The Bengaluru police department used to have normal officers man the social media accounts, but it recently outsourced the job to some tech-savvy, “youngsters,” according to The Times of India. On top of getting people talking, it frees up officers to do more actual police work, which is good for everyone. Other departments: take note.
