Time to run down the top Game of Thrones-related news stories from the past week, and there were a few doozies.
The run-up to Game of Thrones Season 6 has begun in earnest, and even HBO is being a little more careful with the details than last year, there’s still plenty to see. For example, the network debuted a brief clip of a scene from the season premiere at this year’s SXSW.

Apparently, one Season 4 scene was so violent that the Game of Thrones producers decided to cut it. So they do have a limit.

Now that his character is dead, Stephen Dillane (Stannis Baratheon) is being a little loose with what he says about the show. It ends up that he wasn’t a huge fan, which weirdly just makes him a better Stannis.
