It’s the day of a new Game of Thrones episode—always a happy day—and it’s time to look back on the week before. What Game of Thrones-related subjects were people buzzing about this week? Let’s take a look.
Time for WiC Weekly. First, check out photos from tonight's episode, "Home." https://t.co/bflmTJBXv8 pic.twitter.com/PhoJbfHtNc

Hopefully, “Home” will build on the momentum Game of Thrones developed in “The Red Woman.” Check out our recaps.

All in all, the Season 6 premiere was well-received…with the possible exception of the scenes featuring characters from Dorne. Those…were rough, but a prop HBO spotlighted on its Making Game of Thrones blog plugs a few (but by no means all) of the plotholes.
This #GameofThrones prop fills in a couple of plot holes from the Dorne scenes last week. https://t.co/zWTShPOhZP pic.twitter.com/i8o6dOo8yX

HBO has done a good job of plugging leaks this year, but minor things are still getting out. For example, the title of fourth episode of Season 6 may have gotten out.

HBO released the running times for every episode of Season 6. Some are much longer than others. What does that mean?

You can’t say that Game of Thrones Season 6 didn’t start with a bang. The ending with Melisandre created plenty of buzz. Actress Carice Van Houten and director Jeremy Podeswa talked about what they were going for.

After that reveal broke, we looked into the question more deeply:
On that note, we look at the evidence and try to answer a question: how old is Melisandre? https://t.co/LhJbD4HnWe pic.twitter.com/M4wmxdS06l

Let’s end with a big picture story about Game of Thrones Season 6 as a whole. David Benioff and Dan Weiss talked about the thematic thrust behind the stories this year.
According to the showrunners, the theme of Season 6 is "homecoming." We'll leave it there. https://t.co/tTd1tEYv7y pic.twitter.com/SPDl0HTkga
