The Game of Thrones Live Concert Experience kicks off in just a few days, and promoter Live Nation just released a new video to Facebook showing off some of the show’s vaunted pyrotechnics in action. Check it out!
As the video tells us, this project has been in development for years. It looks like all the planning has paid off. I enjoyed the shot of the wildfire springing up from the floor around the 0:48 second mark, although it’s got to be hard for the organist to concentrate. I also love the image of the violinist playing under what looks like a gnarl of wierwood branches around 0:57. HBO has gone all out for this.
The Concert Experience’s first stop will be in Minneapolis this Monday. Game of Thrones composer Ramin Djawadi will travel with the show throughout North America.
