With the Game of Thrones Live Concert Experience in full swing, the music of Game of Thrones has been quite the popular topic lately. In addition to the Concert Experience, there’s a new album, The Game of Thrones Symphony, available. Silva Screen Records uploaded a video of the 85-piece City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra and Choir recording a song for the album: “Light of the Seven,” the scene-stealing track that plays over Cersei’s destruction of the Sept of Baelor in the season 6 finale. Behold:
Rousing, that. For a real chills-inducing moment, skip to the 6:00 mark to hear the choir hit the crescendo.
The album will feature 21 tracks from the six seasons of the show, including:
- Main Title
- Goodbye Brother
- Finale (From “Season 1”)
- Warrior of Light
- Winterfell
- Mother of Dragons
- A Lannister Always Pays His Debts
- Dracarys
- Mhysa
- Two Swords
- You Are No Son of Mine
- The Children
- Blood of the Dragon
- Dance of Dragons
- Atonement
- Son of the Harpy
- Light of the Seven

Meanwhile, Classic FM has video of this orchestra recording track 19, “Winter has Come.” The video isn’t embeddable, but you can see it here.
