More Pictures of the Lannister Army Preparing to fight in Las Breñas

The Lannister Army is preparing for the “Battle of Las Breñas” in new leaked photographs from the set of Game of Thrones Season 7. Spoilers….well, semi spoilers, ahoy!

As we revealed yesterday, the fans in Spain are at it again, with their deep ops work bringing us footage from even the most hard to see places in Game of Thrones Season 7. Those were YouTube videos of the army of extras practicing (or perhaps filming their final marches) as the Lannister forces for the major battle that’s being filming in the Malpartida de Cáceres area. Filming their technically finished on Friday, so these pictures should be dated as such. As of yesterday the production moved to El Barrueco de Arriba which is part of Los Barruecos. They’ll be there almost through Christmas, and the signs are everywhere.

One assumes they just didn’t bother ship a ream of pink paper to Spain and orange would have to do.

Let’s move on the the spoilery pictures.

No spoilers, understand!?

Let’s check out these images.

According to El Periodico Extremadura, a director could be heard shouting “This is an attack. You have to put your face to it parezca¡”

But that’s only half of it. The big spoiler is who the Lannister army is going up against. Those who thought this might be he Lannister forces versus the Tyrell Army will be surprised:

That’s because it’s the kind of army that “travels with their house on their back,” so to speak.

That’s right. “The Lannisters go with carriages loaded after stealing several castles and conquer Upper Garden. And then are attacked by the Dothraki and immaculate.” (Immaculate is the word used in the Spanish translations of the novels for the Unsullied.)

More to come as the battle filming continues!
