Photos From Malpartida Suggest Game of Thrones Casualties

New photos and videos have emerged from the filming of Game of Thrones Season 7 in Malpartida, and the results look nasty.

Spoilers are not to eat dinner at my table

There’s a flood of images and video from the filming yesterday and today in Malpartida. Starting with one that suggests that no matter who wins the battle, the casualties will mount.

Meanwhile over at Hoy, we’ve got video to go along with yesterday’s pictures of Jaime and Bronn filming. These shots were taken by drone, according to some sources, which explains why Game of Thrones has been pushing for Drone bans around the Ireland filming locations where it has the clout to do so. Here in Spain, not so much.

The drone and the long lensed cameras also got images of the extras before they get all blood splattered.

It must have been a happier time for them, before they knew which ones would go down in battle

Sadly, probably not to be. As we reported yesterday, most of the targaryen clan was spotted in London, so they’re on a break from filming at the moment it seems. (Heck Maisie Williams decided to cross the fandom streams and went to the Fantastic Beasts red carpet.)

Some may have off, but these guys sure don’t. And remember, those armor costumes weigh 50lbs!

With that though, filming at Almodóvar castle is finished. Today, according to all reports, the gear is being packed back up and the production is moving down the line to the next location. We’ll be watching for spoilers from there as well.
