Con of Thrones has been busy this week, adding two more stellar guests to the roster for the inaugural convention this summer in Nashville, Tennessee. The con is set for June 30th through July 2nd, 2017, at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center.
Today it was announced that Carice van Houten, the Red Woman herself, will be attending Con of Thrones. The actress, who has played the priestess Melisandre on Game of Thrones since season 2, will attend the festivities and be available for autographs and photographs on Saturday and Sunday.
In addition to van Houten, the con is welcoming Miltos Yerolemou! A fan favorite from his role as Arya’s swordmaster Syrio Forel, Yerolemou will be attending the con on Saturday and Sunday as well.
Van Houten and Yerolemou are joining a guest roster including Iwan Rheon (Ramsay Bolton), Kerry Ingram (Shireen Baratheon), Kate Dickie (Lysa Arryn), Rupert Vansittart (Yohn Royce), Aimee Richardson (Myrcella Baratheon), Sam Coleman (young Hodor), Dothraki & Valyrian language genius David J. Peterson and GoT weapons master Tommy Dunne.
Reserve your autographs and photographs with Carice, Miltos, and the rest at ConofThrones.com!
In addition to the guest news, Con of Thrones has been dropping teasers about the programming over on Twitter. So far, the panels unveiled are “Motherhood and Power,” “Dracarys!”, and “Sex and Sensuality on Game of Thrones.” Follow the CoT Twitter to receive regular teases of things to come.
As part of the programming committee, I can tell you we’ve been hard at work crafting a huge variety of panels for con-goers, and I can’t wait for you all to see the complete schedule in the near future!
Con of Thrones (CoT) is its own legal entity and is owned and operated separately from Watchers on the Wall (WotW). WotW owners and staff are assisting with CoT on a volunteer-basis only. All inquiries should be directed to management at Con of Thrones. We hope to see you there!
