If you watched the penultimate episode of Game of Thrones season 6, “Battle of the Bastards,” and thought how much better it would be if you play it out with figurines, you’re in luck. Dark Horse has just unveiled a bust modeled after Jon Snow as he appeared in that landmark episode, complete with man bun, Longclaw, and fully engaged angry face.
Sculptor Dave Cortes is behind the bust, which measures 6-inches from the base to the top of Jon’s head, including the sword arm’s extension.
A key moment is when Jon prepares for his last stand by drawing his sword Longclaw and facing the Bolton army seemingly alone. This is the moment sculptor Dave Cortes and his studio capture.
The bust will be available on August 23. It comes with a full-color deluxe packaging and a certificate of authenticity. It’ll run you $89.99, which is pricey, but in return you’ll be greeted at the door every day by Jon Snow’s screaming face. Set him on your nightstand and wake up to the image of him yelling at you for not properly running in a serpentine fashion. Put him in the center of the room so guests will feel vaguely threatened during game night. The possibilities are endless.
Or you could just add him to the rest of your collection, but what fun would that be? Also, since Dark Horse is making Battle of the Bastards busts, do you think we could request a Wun Wun full of arrows? He’d make a fine keyring holder.
